^by saying it is "contextual," I was being snide about it fitting in with the '60s era public housing across the street.

Garage it was...ugly one too. Not sure how they’re getting away with throwing steel on top of crumbling concrete.

Retail rumor is that Tatte taking first floor.
 
This is very nice, perhaps a bit too trendy with the entrance wood, but otherwise it's a great addition.
 
^^^^^looks OK in person. the new curb cut that serves 1 (maybe 2 tandem) private spaces is an issue, but thats the zoning...

it was 2 floors of parking with 1 floor of office on top.
It will be 1 reduced floor of parking (with retail on ground floor) with 3 floors of office above.

the glass blocks, the awnings, the garage doors...
huge upgrade.
 
One charlestown meeting tomorrow 6-7:30 at Harvard Kent. Looks like new plans will be presented. Time to open the one thread back up.
