Yes lights have already been installed, just not active yet. Begs the question of whether this is really going to improve traffic on Summer Street. Traffic backs up onto the bridge at the PM rush hour and now you are putting a 2nd light in. Should be interesting.
The news that the project could begin as soon as next spring was a welcome update to residents who have long endured the noise, pollution, and safety concerns associated with the trucks that run through the dense neighborhood.
If we're concerned about pollution, maybe Conley Terminal should buy a few of the electric trucks being used in California and get some experience to determine whether batteries are as good as diesel?
