Wow, that is 970,000 sq feet in Lower Mills and nobody is complaining. I hope this works out better for HYM Investments than P3. I can't help but think this is the city's way of saying thank you for trying and don't get pissed about the Madison Park thing

1121 dorchester ave is definitely one of my favorite new projects completed in the area. It replaced a dinky little used car lot with 24 rental units and a very nice restaurant space in the ground floor. The restaurant just opened two weeks ago, I havent been there yet, but every time I go by its absolutely hopping.

Its one of those ones where it has a bunch of garage doors that can be closed in bad weather, but in good weather they open them all up and so the entire restaurant can be seen from the street and it connects the inside to the outside. Lately when Ive gone by its packed to the gills and they have tables right up to the sidewalk. This has been a massive success for this part of dot ave.

food and drinks is honestly pretty meh but location and the structure itself make up for it. Hoping they work out the food once they get through the first few weeks

Glory be: New three-decker wins approval

Rendering of proposed three-decker

“The Zoning Board of Appeal today approved plans to build a three-decker on a vacant lot at 102 Nightingale St. near Talbot Avenue in Dorchester.

Augustine Kim's proposal for what in the rest of the city would be called a triple decker, calls for three condos, with one to be sold as affordable, his attorney, Ryan Spitz said.

The proposal needed several zoning variances, including for the 3,230-square-foot lot being too small for three units, being too close to its side and front yard lines and not having any parking…..”
