Looking at equilibrias post didnt it actually gain a floor? The approved building is on the left and the proposed is on the right.

The approved one has 11 plus the mechanical crown. The proposed one is the project change, which has 10 plus the mechanical crown. It's easiest to spot the difference in the darker cladding.

The thing I object to the most is the signage atop the building in that screen grab; I'm hoping that element is ultimately rejected.

“A permit valued at $142,319,900.00 has been pulled to begin construction of a 10-story life science building at 80 East Berkeley Street in the South End. Plans for an office project on the site were approved in 2013 but never realized. In January 2022 the development team proposed changes to include lab space. The new building will include roughly 300,000 square feet of state-of-the-art lab space with 200 parking spaces.”
