Another building adding more to the downtown streetwall. I had come across this a few times, thinking it was an older render of Alta Union House, but its a separate building.

^^ I always wonder what's on the upper floors of these old, downtown buildings... would be interesting to live in one, like in Natick, Wellesley, or anywhere where there are old, 3 story buildings in towns where almost everyone lives in detached homes.

“FRAMINGHAM — A local convenience store owner is moving into the residential development market, proposing a six-story apartment building with 54 units on former MCI-Framingham property on Irving Street.

Vinod Patel, owner of three convenience stores on the Southside, purchased 1.4 acres of land across from the prison after it was put up for auction by the state in November 2016....”

Looks ugly as hell, should be cheap, build!

Wow I don’t think you could design a more hideous building. Like wtf.
 
Is this from The Onion website? A flat roof would take a lot of the stink out of this.
 
It does look like a hotel you'd find in middle America.

If built as shown in the picture, I imagine it'd be a big safety hazard.

Sloped metal roof, 6 story building. Sounds like sheets of snow/ice are going to slide right off and develop some nice momentum on their way down. I don't think I'd want to be on that sidewalk or have my car parked in that corner parking space.

On the other hand, the all-weather indoor swimming pool that must be going up there in such absurdly large space would make me want to live there in a heartbeat.

It is a pool, right???

I would guess mechanical.
 
You can make a new thread for Maynard its fine. If theres projects going up they can have a place to go.
