There isn't, and I can't find any sign of a project here. According to the assessor, GE still owns it.

The GE building was a handsome Art Deco / Modern factory hall (armature winding / electric motor rebuild, originally, I think) that had been turned into a light filled engineering/ drafting space for GE Energy Services. Sad to see it go. I [have confirmed{ the street address and start[ed] a new thread.

I suspect COVID taught GE that this work can be done semi-remotely.

I agree that at least the front entrance should have been preserved and incorporated into the new building. There's not a lot of art deco office/industrial buildings in the Boston area, and what is left should be saved one way or another.
