Merry Christmas, Hanukkah, to all.
My Globe Christmas prayer message;
Dear Heavenly Father and Loving God,
Help us remember the birth of your Blessed Son Jesus,
that we may share in the song of the angels,
the gladness of the shepherds for our hope of Salvation
and faith of the wise men and women.
Close the door of hate - and open the door
of love all over the world.
Let kindness come with every gift and good desires
with every greeting.
Deliver us from evil by the blessing which Christ Your Son
brings, and teach us to be in high spirits with clear hearts.
Give us, O God, the vision which can see Your love
in the world in spite of human failure.
Give us the faith to trust Your goodness
in spite of our ignorance and weakness.
Give us the knowledge that we may continue
to pray with understanding hearts.
Show us what each one of us can do to set
forward the coming of the day of universal peace.
May the forgiving spirit of Him to whom we dedicate
this season prevail again on earth,
and in the hearts of the great people of the Metro of Boston.
May people live in safety. May hunger disappear and fear end.
May the sanctity of the home be preserved.
May the Christmas morning make us happy to be thy children,
and Christmas evening bring us to our beds with grateful thoughts,
forgiving and forgiven,
May peace reign upon the great people of Boston,
And may the coming year bring also us;
digging at the Winthrop Garage
South Station Tower rising,
Parcel 15 decking... Copley Tower reborn...
and your blessed workings resolve the failings of men (and women) at HGT,
for we have faith Dear Heavenly Father that it is your will!

Connecticut is just as boring as I remember. I'm on my third scnapps of the day and it's 2:00pm. This will do nicely enough.

I was in Fairfield and Stratford on the 23rd. Fairfield is lovely, with a decent downtown for a small city. For some reason when we were going out to the bars in Fairfield, something seemed off. I don't know what it is.
