A good deal of development activity in Haverhill --

Merrimack Street Redevelopment Project - (370-420 residential units, 50K sf of retail/restaurant space)
Demolition and site prep has begun on this 4.5 acre site which includes the redevelopment of a former city-owned parking garage and surrounding parcels abutting the Merrimack River on Merrimack & Main Streets and Park Way

I hope I'm not derailing this thread too much, but I was in Haverhill for the first time in years last week and the city looked lovely.
 
Haverhill has such great bones!
And the RTA, MEVA, has been doing a decent job of trying to improve its service! It went from only being offered 5 days a week to serve those working a more traditional 9-5 to something that's 7 days a week with a slightly longer service period. There's still a lot of opportunity for improvement, but the service has gotten a lot better.
