A good deal of development activity in Haverhill --

Merrimack Street Redevelopment Project - (370-420 residential units, 50K sf of retail/restaurant space)
Demolition and site prep has begun on this 4.5 acre site which includes the redevelopment of a former city-owned parking garage and surrounding parcels abutting the Merrimack River on Merrimack & Main Streets and Park Way

I hope I'm not derailing this thread too much, but I was in Haverhill for the first time in years last week and the city looked lovely.

Haverhill has such great bones!
And the RTA, MEVA, has been doing a decent job of trying to improve its service! It went from only being offered 5 days a week to serve those working a more traditional 9-5 to something that's 7 days a week with a slightly longer service period. There's still a lot of opportunity for improvement, but the service has gotten a lot better.

The Beck Welcomes First Residents

“The Beck, along Haverhill's riverfront, welcomed its first residents last week. Developed by The Procopio Companies, The Beck includes 290 thoughtfully designed apartments, 6,000 SF of retail space, and direct access to a new public park, all connected to the Merrimack River and downtown.”

Developers always come up with some fun names for these places. What the heck is a beck.

Those balcony views of the river and Haverill should be fantastic!
