And it looks like they chose not to hide the mechanical equipment on the roof of Hobson's Landing! The Holiday Inn's appearance has improved after the exterior renovations, but not by much.

The site plan for the final phase of the buildout was approved unanimously at last night's (5/25) planning board meeting. Construction set to begin in the fall.

This is fantastic design and use of materials and colors. Normally that grey....especially the right side would be blah......this works great though. It draws the eye in framed in by the brick.....and against a grey sky it is perfection.

OK, if I'm down there I'll try to take a look. Usually I'm driving westbound there so those rear portions aren't even noticeable.

Some of the publicity material for phase 2 includes a new rendering of the York & High St. frontage I had never seen before.
