Development plan for the Professional Building has been announced by the PPH and will include 20 apartments on the upper floors and commercial use on the ground and basement levels. This is Lewiston's tallest office building and I hope they have better luck moving forward than the stalled Time & Temperature Building makeover.

Great project! Various interesting arch looks for this housing along with highly insulated exteriors and heat pumps is the way to go for Maine's future! I can see a thriving mini-community forming here.

Construction is underway on the Dewitt, a two-building project delivering 104 new mixed-income apartments next to Kennedy Park. This site had been a surface parking lot for decades.

Mainebiz says that the project could include a 10K square foot ground-floor commercial lease for "the expansion of a local grocery store, delicatessen and bakery."

Wow this is an awesome! Park Ave in Portland needs some nice new development like this bordering the Oaks! Maybe just less wide and more tall.
