Is Vancouver summer seasonal only like Air Canada? I really want a non-stop winter flight to ski in BC.

I wonder if Phase 3 (The next one) will be the LHR from jetBlue and then possibly some other random Euro routes on AA. (Maybe CDG? Maybe SNN or DUB?)

Phase 1: Big Cities and sharing routes/strengthened what they already have US (Austin, Strengthened existing routes)
Phase 2: Entering new markets, under/un served continentally (Vancouver, Milwaukee, St. Louis, Toronto)
Phase 3: (?) Europe (?) (London on B6, Maybe AA TATL?)

Interesting that apart from San Antonio, they're all at least a year out from starting. Nice to see these adds from JetBlue and some resumptions from American.

Vail should subsidize it, a non stop flight to whistler might convince me to get the Epic pass over the Ikon!

Finally! As someone who constantly would travel to STL from BOS for work trips, it wasn't too great to be stuck with the 3x/day flights to STL by Southwest. STL is dominated by Southwest and half the airport is shutdown, but I think this route is a good halfway point type of flight for revival

Oh I don't know... I'm loving the Ikon. We missed out on traveling outside of New England this year, but it's nice to have unlimited access to Sugarbush (my Fiance's family lives in the MRV), limited access to Sunday River + Sugarbush (we have a family home in Bethel), and Loon (easy day trip from Boston) and still be able to jump on a direct Delta flight to SLC and get to Alta/Snowbird pretty quickly. Also planning a Zermat trip for next Feb/March assuming we'll be able to travel in 2022. As much as I love Whistler, I'm not sure even a nonstop would convince me to switch. But I certainly wouldn't hate it.

STL being a hub brings back memories of the TWA days and being on trips with 2-3 hour flights broken up with humid stops in STL.

My whole family worked for TWA and I haven't flown through STL since 2002, so im scared to see what the airport looks like now after how busy it once was.

It is quite abandoned however the Southwest Terminal has been renovated in a pretty tasteful way

There is a planned startup airline called Connect Airlines possibly coming to Logan in 2022.

The primary purpose of this startup is to serve Toronto City Airport, similar to Porter, even though it is a US airline. They plan to start with Philly/Chicago-Toronto City in Q42021 and then go onto Baltimore, JFK and Logan. Domestically, Baltimore/Philly-Logan is also planned in late 2022.

Their presentation and application can be downloaded here: https://www.regulations.gov/document/DOT-OST-2021-0046-0002

There is also some passenger traffic data for Toronto. Boston is a top 5 destination in the US from Toronto passenger wise (It is either 3rd 4th or 5th but the document does not list Los Angeles or Miami/Fort Lauderdale combined which could be larger)

Delta retaliating against American Airlines and JetBlue

All flights start 10/4/2021

3 daily Boston-Charlotte on E175
3 daily Boston-Toronto Pearson on E175
2 daily Boston-Dallas Ft.Worth on A220 (returning after almost 16 years)

I actually think DFW would have happened sooner if not for the pandemic due to the size of Boston-Dallas market.

Also Cincinnati and Raleigh-Durham flights will be on A220 and Boston-Los Angeles will have Delta One seating.

I hope you've taken the chance to come down to NYC to check out the TWA Hotel!! It's even better than I thought it would be when I stayed - highly recommend.

Breeze chose TPA - CHS as its first route.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see more BOS-TPA or BOS-CHS just to make sure Breeze”doesn’t get any ideas” and sticks to “intra south” flying
