Man, I hope the Wellesley-Framingham triple track project doesn't get delayed any, because the temp mini-high they just installed at Wellesley Square isn't even one of those freestanding blocks with a steel deck jobs that a bunch of other stations are getting. It's just a flimsy erector set. Looks just like the *very* temporary platform extenders that Metro North had installed in rotation across the New Haven Line last decade when they were having rolling track outages to replace all the overhead catenary. This thing looks like it's designed to last months, not the 5+ years it's expected to take to get the permanent tri-track station rebuilds done.
