^ Well, there's a limit on the size of picture that's free of resizing. It's a drag for a nice big picture to come up grainy and resized, and it's a drag to have to click on it to make it right. (And then repeat the procedure for the next pic.)
Is anyone else having problems with icons loading? For instance, the only way I can post right now is through the Quick Reply function, as none of the "post reply" or quote icons are showing up.
Ive been getting those errors too. They seem to occur when the board is busiest, so I assume it's server strain. We're going to have to upgrade soon, I think.
Is it me or has the load times on this board increased recently? It just seems to take forever for a thread to load, even if there aren't a lot of pictures in it.
Not sure if you are being serious or not, but in case:
A server is a type of computer that stores and delivers web pages. When you post a comment it is posted to that page file on the sever and the next person who requests that page will see your post.
Errors usually occur when there are too many requests to the server than it can handle.
(That my my internet 101 understanding of it. I'm sure it's a bit more complicated.)
No idea what a 500 error is, but it seems to happen 1 in 10 times I click a link here, no matter the computer or network. I've no clue how to fix this stuff, but is it possible we need to do some housekeeping? Like deleting threads that aren't relevant/commented on anymore?
