One Harbor Shore Dr. | Fan Pier Parcel H | 1 Harbor Shore Drive | Seaport

Plop it down here and it steals the show.

It does look a little better up close than further away, however the panels feel a bit too white if you ask me. Somethings feel a bit too plastic about it as well, but I think I will have to reserve my definitive opinion until its fully cladded and the rooftop is complete. Something does tell me that it will look a little nicer at that point. I do think, looking at it further now, that the white border panels are just a little too thick as well and it feels a slimmer border would have benefitted the aesthetic of the system, right now it all feels a bit too bold if you ask me.

I'm definitely not the first in line to defend Seaport, but the universal bashing the neighborhood gets about being just made of "identical glass boxes" (which isn't even true), to what I believe are the first criticisms of its architecture being too bold is funny.

I'd love for the remaining parcels to get finished so there aren't gap-toothed parking lots all over the place, but hopefully there will be enough architectural diversity across the board to cover all bases.

Not too bold. Too cheap.
