I agree...the break is nice. But walking around the site, the amount of space seems so lavish for that part of the city. At least the area between Louis Boston and the old New England Life building could be used for something...
Agreed. But all those windows ...

Excellent photography, vansnook...possibly the most photogenic angles of City Hall I've ever seen.

One of the best pictures I have ever seen of the Hancock Tower, which I took! :D

I just love how it is in the background, with the Old Hancock Building, and 500 Boylston Street in the foreground...This is a sick picture

I can't lie, I love those monumental anti-human modern complexes like City Hall and the Empire State Plaza. I don't care how many people hate them I will always have a place in my heart for them.

^ I totally agree. Humans are waaaaaaaaay overrated.

I mainly wanted to just get rid of the windshield dots, and then I got rid of the date and did a few corrective adjustments (lighting levels and colors).

It's definitely a nice angle on the building

wow thanks castevens!
It looks way better....what did you use to edit it?? Photoshop??

Ahhh sadly that costs money which I don't have lol
So i guess all my pictures won't be of top quality

Don't look at it that way, BostonBoy. I don't own Photoshop either, and I think my shots are decent. Maybe not at a professional level, but definitely (and defiantly!) decent.

But for those things that absolutely need some touching up, I have iPhoto on my Mac (comes standard with it) and Picasa on my PC (a free Google product). Both will do the trick just fine.

kz you have amazing pictures, and I love them. And i think my pictures are fine, I was just kidding about the top quality and whatnot although castevens did do some wonders to it. I don't have a mac though...What are some other applications I could use to touch up my pictures??? I don't suppose Microsoft Paint would work 8) lol

I hardly ever (if ever?) post on this thread, but I look at it every day. I wanted to thank everyone who takes the pictures and posts them for doing so. I don't think I've seen a "bad" photo on this thread, so keep up the good work guys.

You want irony? On Saturday morning at 5:00 am, my building lost power and my computer completely crashed. I just reformatted my hard drive and how to redownload EVERYTHING (microsoft service pack 2 took forever). Now I lost Photoshop hahaha

I've always loved the bowler hat sandwich-scarfer billboards. Here's another:
