Ok we hit 2,000 posts with Part II (which was created when the board rebooted from Part I made years ago), so here's the new thread!

Here's to another two years of PotD!

Wow, very nice. Do we have a photo of the year nomination thread yet?

Liberty Square is great, I would love to see the wasteland at kilby and Milk transformed into another Libery Square

Man, Castevens really takes some unbelievable night pics. Did anybody see when the Pru was lit up red a few weeks back? (same type of lighting as the blue that it is sporadically lit in, don't know what it is but looks much sharper than the normal yellow)

It was red last Friday, too. I wish they'd keep these colors instead of reverting to the cheap LED look it usually has.

And it's not like people wouldn't use it: that intersection sees more than enough pedestrian traffic to justify sprucing it up at least a little bit. That or say screw it altogether and make it a parking area for city and commercial vehicles.

VERY nice. Are archBoston photographers kicking things up a notch for this thread?

Thank you, and no, I didn't see it lit up red -- I wish I had, I would have gone out and taken some pictures.

I haven't been able to get out much in the past 3 months or so -- finally my coursework (after 6 years of being able to have hobbies during college) has gone over the top and it is impossible to do anything but study anymore

It looks like it. For my part, I'm no better a photographer than I was before, but my camera is new.

Somewhat unrelated, but I've seen your pictures before, and they're damn good. How come you're never out capturing the city?
