Portland, ME - New Construction Continued

No details yet, but Avesta is planning something for the old Tortilla Flat restaurant site (which has a large lot and is a pretty good location for housing: next door to Hannaford, on two METRO routes, a 20 minute walk/5 minute bike ride to Talbot School and the community center, and a block away from the Trolley Park):

"This project will be completed in 2 phases. The first phase of the project proposes demolishing the existing structure and constructing a new multifamily affordable housing development with limited parking."

I guess this is phase 1 - the renderings look like four floors but the site plan shows 33 units in a 3 story building.

Rendering from 2018 that Cosakita posted and I wonder if there are any updated ones?

Another one that is currently in review is an Avesta development at 19 Cedar--didn't see discussion of it anywhere else so figured I would drop it in here--https://selfservice.portlandmaine.gov/EnerGov_Prod/SelfService#/plan/291e8de8-20d0-4a54-b93f-6baa4840feaa

Avesta Housing Corporation has submitted a Major Site Plan application for the construction of a five-story, approximately 5,225-square-foot multi-family residential building at 15 & 19 Cedar Street. The proposed development includes 30 dwelling units, approximately 26,086 square feet of floor area, of which 100% would be deed-restricted affordable rentals, along with community spaces for the residents.

Worth noting that the lot this sits on is currently owned by the Boys and Girls Club. I believe that this project is how they're planning to satisfy the city's Housing Replacement Ordinance when they tear down the existing rooming house on the corner of Cedar and Cumberland for their planned expansion.
