Ah, a separate building for an indoor pool. Not a bad idea. I found the render linked below from BLDUP. I wonder if there were any pitchforks and pubic outcry to see if this pool could be available to the public since it’s near the waterfront and all that.

^ actually, the locals have been swimming in the harbor for a long time, and will likely continue to do so (there's a dock right in front of Portside).

Should make for quite an 'upstairs / downstairs' dynamic...

There's an ongoing renovation of the public pool at the Paris Street Gym.

I can say that a few activist friends who live closer than I do to the Portside project met with developers to discuss opportunities to integrate local retail into the project. BeeLine's photos show all you need to know about the results of that conversation...
