Hello ArchBoston Members,

This Sunday, May 4th, I will be participating in the annual Walk For Hunger sponsored by Project Bread to help raise awareness on Boston’s ongoing hunger issue. This will be my 8th year participating in this incredible event and it’s something I look forward to every single year. As we all know, hunger is a solvable problem, and this year I’m working to raise at least $210 to help feed those that do not have the necessary resource to feed themselves. If you would like to make a donation to support my fundraising effort, please click the link below. Any donation amount is greatly appreciated and will be going to a great cause.

In addition, feel free to join me and the more than 40,000 walkers in making this 20-mile trek around Boston and the surrounding towns and neighborhoods. The walk itself is free and there are entertainment and snacks along the way! If you would like more information regarding this event and how you could help, please see the link below:

Thank you for your support and consideration.

Sincerely,

Kent Xie

I've seen your posts on FB and have been debating on joining you. I recently started running again and have been a bit sore, so I'm not sure how I'll fare on a 20 mile walk. Is it possible to meet up at a checkpoint and join you?

Yeah, if you don't mind walking with a couple of my friends. I'll message you my number on fb once I'm out of work. Also, you don't have to walk all 20 miles. There will be buses at each checkpoint that can take you back if you're too tired.

I don't mind. =) Sweet deal. Send me your # and we'll coordinate.

I will be working at the checkpoint on Memorial Drive near Magazine Beach, after 3 pm.

It's that time of the year again!

Hello Friends and Colleagues,

On Sunday, May 3rd, I will be participating in the annual Walk For Hunger sponsored by Project Bread to help raise awareness on Boston’s ongoing hunger issue. This will be my 9th year participating in this incredible event and it’s something I look forward to every single year. As we all know, hunger is a solvable problem, and this year I will be attempting to become a Heart & Sole Walker for the first time and hopefully raise a total of $500 to help feed those that do not have the necessary resource to feed themselves. I’ve already donated $25 to help get this fundraising started. If you would like to make a donation to support my fundraising effort, please click the link below and then click Donate to Kent. Any donation amount is greatly appreciated and will be going to a great cause.
