For anyone interested, the current state of Brown's Performing Arts Center (pit in foreground) and the merged Sharpe House/Peter Green House (center background):
Took some updated photos of the now-completed Department of History buildings:

The PAC pit and rear of the history building(s?):

In addition, work has started on a new wellness center and residence hall (formerly a parking lot, before that a half-dozen homes):

And pardon my terrible phone's even worse camera at night, but they've been lighting the crane up, which has been impressive:

Wow I wasn’t aware of the wellness Center and residency, but was wondering what they were doing there behind CVS. That Thayer intersection is going to be quite packed. Yay!

While I’m here - there’s a number of proposals othe city’s CPC agenda tomorrow. Below is from the west broadway neighbourhood association email today.

We have two Providence threads and I'm not quite sure how they differ... but since this is construction-related, I'll post this here.

Construction is wrapping up on the new courthouse parking garage. I know parking gets a lot of complaints, but this is a proactive move by the City as they're seeking to develop many of the surrounding downtown surface lots into something worthwhile, and need to replace the spaces being used to capacity.

The white building to the right is the Wexford development with the Cambridge Innovation Center. Last I heard, it was killing birds and they're working to fix it.

Small building under construction on Hope St., between Waterman and Fones Alley.
Google Maps shows it used to be half grassy lot, half parking lot.
