International Boston- Bogata,then fly domestic to Medellin' so only airport time in Bogata. Then went to Cartegena for a couple days then back to the states thru Bogata. Medellin' for the culture, Cartegena for the pools and party!!
 
Nashville is fantastic! My wife and I went there for a friend's wedding a couple of years back and very much enjoyed it. We stayed at the Gaylord too and it was incredibly nice inside, almost a Disney-like experience, though food options could be limited at times. Broadway is nuts - we drove down it to see it but did not go back, simply too crazy for us. Centennial Park with the Parthenon replica was excellent. I'd like to go back and explore some more, maybe I'll make a trip for the IndyCar race at some point.

I actually didn't get to spend much time this trip outside the Gaylord's convention center - despite not staying there, I was in town for a conference. That said... If you're into cars, especially oddball wacky things, the Lane Motor Museum should be on your list of things to see next time!

Way ahead of you! We ended up stopping there and they had an IndyCar exhibit (of all things!) during that time. Really cool place.

And a few of the city. The Parthenon replica is really cool and in a nice park. The Grand Prix was held just a couple of weeks before and some of the barriers were still up. This year and next at least the race has been moved to the nearby Nashville Superspeedway while they build a new Titans stadium.

Because many people were asking for it! I snapped this photo of some new multi-family development from the train platform while passing through Moncton, NB, Canada. All joking aside, Moncton is one of the fastest growing cities in Canada (grew by 10.5% between the 2016 and 2021 federal census), so it's good to see some new development going up to accommodate the new residents!

Beyond hotel and resort / casino lifestyle residences, I didn't know "consumer product" luxury branding of residential buildings was a thing, but apparently so.

And while luxury hotel brands are significant players in this space, non-hotel luxury brands such as Aston Martin, Porsche, Lamborghini, Fendi, Missoni, and Nobu are seizing opportunities to expand into this space, each announcing their own branded residential projects under development.

Photos from my trip last week to Dallas. I will say, Boston has a better brutalist city hall, even as it was in the past surrounded by a sea of concrete, but Dallas has better public art and water features.

Wrapping up a trip to Switzerland. All of the cities and towns I visited were pedestrian friendly and well connected by frequent intercity rail but the photos below focus on Bern. I stayed in the older part of the city. Loved the arcades, mid block passages, and urban stairwells. Gave the city a maze-like feel. Surprised I hadn’t heard about how common biking is in Bern- cyclists were everywhere. If you visit, I highly recommend floating down the Aare!

Last shot is from a turret on a castle in Thun. Too cool not to include.

Sydney has a nice skyline although a bit disjointed. I’m not sure how to describe it exactly. However, the harbor, the bridge, and the Opera house are spectacular. We rode the new metro and I was so envious. Stations are huge and so clean and high-
Tech. It’s certainly NOT the MBTA! lol

The Barangaroo skyline is certainly...interesting. Great redevelopment project though!
