Went to see my parents last weekend (their house is the one with the flag out front), and it was just heartbreaking. My old neighbor Al, a 94 year old WWII vet, lived in the last blue house on Douglas and lost everything - thankfully, they've been able to find him a spot in the Foley Apartments, so he'll stay in the neighborhood. Tough to see where I grew up in flames, and probably changed forever.Last weeks fire damage.

Never went in there, but it was iconic to the neighborhood. Bad urbanism but one of those places that adds character.Mulls diner is leveled. That was quick. I'll add pictures if I get a chance
