The Casco | 201 Federal Street | Portland

Where is the "end unit" located? Is it the retail space on Temple Street or at the east end of Federal Street?

I say anyone but because they have one up the hill and already closed one down on commercial. And it’s not a practical daily go to store/. Walk through a rosemont then walk through bow street in Freeport and that’s the difference in being practical . Be nice to have one place downtown that is a daily needs place and not just 40 dollar lobster theme salt shaker or 3 dollar avocado you’d find at our current places. God forbid we let one of those urban mini Targets set up.

I personally think an Amato's would have been a perfect fit and their store on India Street is far enough away from Temple as to not impact sales. Not familiar enough with Rosemont or Bow Street to have an opinion either way but I'm happy to see the space finally leased.

I'll happily take a Rosemont. Especially if it's a "flagship" location with a wider selection and a coffee bar as shown on the building permit plans. This looks like it will be larger than their locations in the West End and Munjoy Hill. It's a good location for a place that has fresh produce and staple items for residents and "grab-and-go" options for office workers.

I'd much rather have a Rosemont than another trendy bar/restaurant called "Feast & Thistle" or something

The only Rosemont location I regularly go by is the Morrill's Corner one in the old Plywood Ranch building, and that's a warehouse / commissary / bakery, not an actual retail location. But, I do think they should rename the "Rosemont Brighton Ave." store as "Rosemont Rosemont".
