Rumor has it that the company which runs trivia nights on Tuesdays at the Tam expects to be there on 1/8/19...
What's up with Jacob Wirth's? The latest news story I can find is from August:

I assume they are done, but I can't find anything official. Their website doesn't even mention being closed.

This is sad. It was my first introduction and the the driving force behind my love of fine dining. That being said, L’Espalier probably doesn’t have much more to accomplish and considering how the scene in Boston is evolving, it may be leaving at the right time. I’m interested to see what McClelland is doing next.
I originally thought it was Boston's only five diamond establishment but there's still Menton.

Grill 23 is pretty great.

Grill 23 can be a moderate hit or a tragic and embarrassing miss in my many experiences but even on its best day it's nowhere near the caliber of L'Espalier or its peers in other cities(and I say peers in other cities because it didn't have any in Boston). In terms of the ratings L'Espalier was playing in the same league as Le Bernardin, Jean Georges and Alinea. Every city has a Grill 23.
I am not sure if this belongs in this thread, but how do you all feel about the Airbnb bill Governor Baker just signed?
