This is shocking to me. Like so many, I bought kegs here as a young man. Now I comb through their bins of wine looking for deals on terrific wines. Going to miss this place. It’s prime real estate though. Assuming a future site for condos and retail?
Seriously, though -- Boston (and surrounding) already has a dearth of interesting neon signage and this one is big and historic. It'll be a major loss.
