The Quinn (née The Berkeley) | 370-380 Harrison Ave | South End

A very interesting type of architecture where its built from scratch to look like a warehouse condo refit. Pretty interesting. This and 100 Shawmut both speak the same architectural language, but only one is a true refit.

Maybe a tower will be built above this one day and it will truely become whats its always been inspired to be lol.

Anyways that angle where it wraps the corner shows that this is a star. Ground level fits perfectly into the neighborhood fabric.

Found these down thread for a better idea of the ground use and aerial view.

^ Anyone know what is going on along E. Berkeley Street beside the Quinn? They are digging a deep trench right next to the building -- where the sidewalk should be. Not the kind of activity you would expect right next to a nearly completed building. Activity seems to go well beyond landscaping level of earth moving.

It's a shame there has been no corresponding effort to fix up the street itself. The median strip and lighting on that section of Harrison is pretty tired looking.

They really need to button up the sidewalk so the public can use it. Pretty annoying as it stands now and it seems like it could have been opened months ago if it were a priority.

Same developer as the kenmore project vastly different results
