It works. Decking may be a misnomer - just talking about 'building on top of'. The same way there's pike onramp under the back bay garage, and an offramp under copley place. The ramp entrance would look like an extra wide version of an underground garage entrance.

Lots of work happening inside the retail/restaurant space on Causeway. Last I heard it was going to be a Tavern in the Square. Lots of dark wood inside.
 
Looks like the Tavern in the Square opens Saturday.
