That second site work may be for a connector roadway. The developer of 10 City Point filed an environmental permit for one this summer. It could be another building but I have not heard anything.

That second project is the redevelopment of the 130 & 180 Third Avenue property by Boston Properties. 130 Third Ave will be a 4-Story 129,000 Square Foot office building with a 3-story underground & 1 level above ground parking garage for 405 vehicles. 180 Third Ave will be a 6-Story, 270,000 Square Foot office building w/ a 6-Story parking garage.
 
Station Landing Development is back on!

The developer backed out in 2010 after financial problems but is back on now. The Station Landing development will be built on the former Savage & Company site on Elm Street and will include 34 2-Bedroom condo units and 8,000 Square feet of commercial/retail space. The completion date is Fall 2015.

Excerpt from recent Waltham News Watch story: "Beer Works co-owner Joe Slesar, who runs five other brewpubs, said the space will be completely refurbished. The rear entrance facing the Embassy Cinema will be developed into “an active deck with tables and umbrellas.”

The proposed building will contain 16-condo units as well as retail on the first floor and an underground parking garage in a 4 story building.

Ground was broken for Station Landing in Waltham.

Tocci Building Companies said it has broken ground on an $8.5 million apartment complex in Waltham.

Wobu r n , MA (December 03, 2014) – Tocci Building Companies (Tocci), a Boston-area construction manager and recognized leader in virtual design and construction solutions, announced today that it has broken ground on Station Landing Apartments, an upscale residential development located at 431 River Street in Waltham, MA. With a project cost totaling $8,500,000 , the 60,850 square-foot (sf) community will feature 34 two-bedroom apartment homes on floors two through five and will be situated atop 9,000 sf of ground-level retail and restaurant space. The development is owned by Charles River Place, LLC and the project team includes Costa Architects and Cowen Associates.

With a goal for tenants to begin taking occupancy by September 1 st, 2015, Tocci utilized Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) and Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools to help accelerate overall construction and project delivery times. Additionally, a beautiful roof deck will be added along with a state-of-the-art gym facility.
