Weird google maps

I remember they did a massive update not too long ago that was FILLED with tons of errors, like giant parks not filled in and such. I wish I knew more about how they updated their maps.

It was when they dropped TeleAtlas that things began to go haywire. Now theyre moving towards a crowdsourcing model which means the maps will be about as trustworthy as wikipedia - i.e. debatable.

Were those the street alignments before the mammoth convention center took over? If so, the shame is that the small-footprint grid of Fort Point could easily have been continued on this giant parcel.

This is what I think/say every time that behemoth comes up and yet no one supports me on it. Boston needs a convention center to compete with Oklahoma City and Spokane for the Woolen Mittens Trade Show! How could one think otherwise!?
