what's left to build 150m/~500' tall on??

How did you delete your entire post Odurandia? I keep seeing this happen. Now I have a double post and a picture of a brick wall posted for no apparent reason.

In Houston, the Williams Tower is 901 feet tall and stands all by itself at the intersection of the inner beltway (I-610) and radial arterial (US-59 / I-69), and essentially defines its own CBD (Galleria).

If that's sufficient, then you could say that in the Boston Area, Needham would be prime (its already got tall broadcast towers, so no FAA problems)

If you say "but this is Boston, we need transit" there's still
FitchburgCR@128 (Waltham)
LowellCR@128 (Woburn)
WorcesterCR@128 (Riverside)

And if you let Burlington get away with clogging 3/93/128, you'd let them plop a big tower right on the Burlington Mall's edge.

Would Hanscom be an issue for Burlington?

No. Hanscom's got a pretty compact airspace, and the runway approaches point away from Burlington. Unless you were planning to put a 2000 footer at the Mall.

. . .

You were planning to put a 2000 footer at the Mall, weren't you? Sorry. :(

INot that I think any of these are good planning, but a Braintree/South Shore Mall site for "tall" would be closely analogous to the Williams Tower (and Tyson's Corner infill on the DC Metro)
