Yes, it's the lobby of City Hall. It's full-height and tucked in the back from the main entrance. There's an elevated section of the lobby underneath and it's actually a pleasant place to sit, if a little loud... any speaking in the lobby gets bounced around and seemingly amplified.

Funny I’ve been going to this building for 37 years but always quickly passing thru the lobby to get to where I’m going , now with Covid ur force to wait in the lobby and I looked up and noticed the ceiling going so high up for the 1st time

Ooh! I'm pretty sure that's in Somerville off the McGrath. I think the green truss in front is the Cross St. bridge over the tracks? The roundish building in back is condos that were made from a church if I recall. I used to bike by it on the detour from when the Washington St. underpass was closed.

You win! Now you can post something, or somebody else can post something, or this thread can go back into hibernation for another year.

Ahhhhh I knew I'd seen this before but couldn't place where! Aren't there actually a couple of these pillars there? It's that cut-through area between the river and the Galleria. Such an odd location and awkward walk.

Hmmm, maybe only 1 column from looking at it through google maps.

Yes that area on streetview is exactly it. Hmm, I think it's just that one sculpture pillar but don't quote me on that. Coming up with good posts for this thread is tough because you don't want it to be totally impossible, but you don't want people to get it in 10 seconds either. I'm sure any of us could photograh a fully zoomed in view of a keyhole or whatever and have it be completely impossible to solve. I will keep my eye out for photo ops that seem to strike the right balance for this thread.

Memorial Drive, under the Longfellow Bridge, the side further from the river.

Yeah, wasn't sure how easy this would or wouldn't be...

A very neat spot. I shared my thoughts and reflections on this in a post a while back:
