Worcester Infill and Developments

wow ... didn't realize my post would be so grossly misunderstood. I don't give two shits they are razing that old mansion given its current (or previous) condition. My point was solely based on seeing what was once a magnificent estate fall into ruin by neglect or whatever reasons led to it, nothing more, nothing less.

This apparently was finished 10 weeks ago and I didn't even know it was under construction

Menkiti Group took the facade off of 204 Main Street a few years ago. Now they're proposing to refurbish the existing 4-story, ±25,000 total square-foot building into commercial tenant spaces and 20 multi-family residential units.

That will be a huge improvement.

Do we think there's any chance some of the empty lots in Main St. might be built up anytime soon?

They were supposed to begin the redevelopment of Denholm, spring of this year, but I haven’t heard any update on that. 233 unit of housing.

If I remember correctly, the two lots next to this are owned by a family who was perfectly content with getting parking revenue. (The name escapes me.) Hopefully that changes.
