A second parcel of the Reactory Biopark is under agreement to be developed by Galaxy Life Sciences, who would be builder and landlord of a $50 million property. Construction is said to complete in 2022:

There’s a flashy video of the proposed research/ manufacturing facility, but it’s not clear to me if that is the final design.

A sister company of Galaxy redeveloped the old WRTA trolley yard on Grove Street into a type of strip mall and its design is - shall we say - more utilitarian.

Worcester Historical Commission allows for demolition of Hale Building

Redevelopment of the former Worcester State Hospital is taking major steps forward with site work for two new life sciences buildings. The new development, though, won't include the century-old Hale Building, a last remnant of the old state hospital off Belmont Street.

WuXi quintuples Worcester investment to $300M, set to open facility in 2024

Chinese life sciences firm WuXi Biologics has increased the value of its investment in its Worcester facility from the original $60 million to now $300 million.
