Partially correct. You don't have to be a 501(c)(3). That's a charity. There are several other 501(c) statutes that qualify for tax exempt.

Written Determination of CH. 91 License issued today and CLF lose their marbles!

#150Seaport Republicans giving away children's future with tax breaks to the wealthy. @MassCZM @MassDEP @MassGovernor giving away their future access to and use of public tidelands. Are they all shoring up coal markets by stuffing the public's stockings with the stuff? SHAME!

I don't understand Peter Shelley? Isn't Mass mostly made up of Democrats?
Was the Chap 91 License just for WhiskeyPriest/AtlanticBeer Gardens or was it adjusted for other developments around the waterfront like Harbor garage, Hook any others?

Wasn't the state supposed to have the waterfront guidelines written up back in Oct? OH...... I forgot that AMO's non-profit companies changed the date those state guildelines. Keep using your free money for great causes like BRIBERY to elected officials.

It's funny that the Boston Globe article on Amos was taken down from Boston Globe internet site the next day. You actually have to do a search.

Apparently you don't understand the very simple concept that people belonging to the same political party may, in fact, disagree on any number of issues. There are, for example, both YIMBY and NIMBY Democrats.

In Russia, there are no real political parties, and government apparatchiks can read e-mails at will.

Local politics is a whole different game compared to international politics.

What does that have to do with anything being discussed here?

Those who can read Cyrillic bring a different perspective to certain threads.

The hash brown (#) specifically says Republicans.
Pretty sure that's what he is referencing.
Because everything in this country is all deep blue or red. No shades of either.
And that's why everything is so divisive and nothing gets done in a reasonable time for a reasonable cost.

The author is obviously a Democrat, and anything supported by a republican is inherrantly evil.

Good for common sense and realism prevailing in this location. Now build it.

Excellent news. Sorry CLF! Stop wasting taxpayer money in courts.

Are you serious that was just a warm up. Expect, CLF, Barr Foundation and Amos to throw the kitchen sink at the harbor garage development.

Re: Whiskey Priest/Atlantic Beer Garden Redevelopment | 150 Seaport Blvd | Seaport

Throughout the past year, the CLF has managed to turn about 11 people from the City of Boston to come out against the project -- except, there are no public meetings, as 150 Seaport had already been approved by the Building Dept. :)

Re: Whiskey Priest/Atlantic Beer Garden Redevelopment | 150 Seaport Blvd | Seaport

No CLF no Harbor cleaned up.....
No MLK, JFK, no civil rights legislation, etc....

Re: Whiskey Priest/Atlantic Beer Garden Redevelopment | 150 Seaport Blvd | Seaport

Just curious what is the history behind what were the causes to the pollution to Boston Harbor?

Re: Whiskey Priest/Atlantic Beer Garden Redevelopment | 150 Seaport Blvd | Seaport

The Industrial Revolution, 130 years of rampant dumping of hazardous wastes incl pcb''s, lead, arsenic, mercury, etc.....
