It's a turd, a quarter section of half a 55 gallon drum turned into a building. It's one more piece, taking a void, dead area and bringing it to life. It's dense, expanding the urban area of Boston. We needed the hotel rooms. The pedestrian bridge is going to be cool.

I know this will come out ok, and I am pumped for Boston to be getting this, but right now it reminds me of that massive unfinished hotel in North Korea.

I mean, if this were 650 feet taller, had zero cladding, was blue, formed a pyramid, and had sat unfinished for 20+ years in a dictator-run state, I might totally see your point...

I don't know about anyone else, but I live about a mile away from this and though I'm 100% in favor of it, the only thing I'm looking forward to is the Wynn buffet--which is truly, truly a religious experience. However, I don't believe they will be getting the buffet for v. 1.0. Soooo, eh.

Damn I didnt know they were doing that. Thats great if they do. I never went to the Wynn buffet but the bellagio buffet was biblical.

I like the tower, since I like all wynn towers. The base level does look like a cheesecake factory though like someone said lol, but hey. Im happy were getting more night life in Boston so Im happy with it.

Las Vegas, Disney, Oz, Cheesecake Factory. All are places for escapism. They are all supposed to look different from your regular life and regular places. Their different architecture is your assurance that you can go there to "get away"...that they are not like home.

Anyone who thought that it was going to be anything other tacky schlock need only take a look at Las Vegas. Folks looking at its surroundings and wondering how it landed next to a power plant, scrapyards, and oil tanks, need only to realize that the casino doesn’t want patrons to look anywhere other than their slot machine or table.

The whole development could be captioned: “Does what it says on the tin”
