Looks like more roof decks! Keep em comin!! Going to be nice to finally see the original stepping stone of the entire area finally wrap up in fan pier. This will be the first completed "block" or whatever you want to call it besides the older brick towers. Its funny that 1MPD really kicked off the whole shebang here, and its by far the worst tower in the neighborhood. But hey they had to make a move and they made it, now its covered on all the "ugly" sides anyways and all you'll see is glass. Works for me. I remember when lonely 1 Marina Park Drive was the only little tower standing up all alone over there and you had to imagine everything that was to come. Now you really just have to imagine Seaport Square and the wrapping up of the M parcels. We've come a long ways, and damn its great to see this neighborhood finally taking its final form. Having the median worked on now is part of the lower tier additions that really start to bring it home. I really like what they've done here and especially whats to come. You still have to imagine it moving inwards from the ocean, but we have a tangible neighborhood in front of us now that has become a wonderful waterfront destination.

Surely will be a private roof terrace for MassMutual execs to throw parties on. Not sure why you're celebrating that unless you just like seeing people on roofs. No public deck component here. The public components of Parcel E are all at the ground, see the first post in this thread.

I don't need to benefit from everything the city builds. I can root for the people who will work here as Im sure theyll love having this roof top waterfront view terrace.

Wow some of those units the neighboring condo building currently have excellent views of the harbor. In 2 years, they will be staring at insurance people pushing papers around their desks.

Hey, pervs and voyeurs need a place to live too...

This building won't impact anyone in the condos who have views of the harbor.

No, but they have fine views of One Marina Park Drive, and you can't put a price on that.

This will be a good location to watch Fan Pier's final tooth get filled in.

It'll be good to see this done so that the Fan Pier block that started about 20 years ago with the Moakley Courthouse will finally be completed! Although, I would've been just fine with another green space in that parcel instead and called it complete.

Your forgetting the One Harbor Shore Drive site has not been fully developed. We have an underground garage but no hotel/condo/residence high-rise.

What parcel h? You know what I mean. The best part about this building is it will block the remaining views of the crappy parts of 1 Marina park dr leaving just the glass side. That makes this building twice as important, it fills in a glaring gap and also makes fan pier look much better by hiding the crappy precast part of 1mpd.

And also much of the plain broad backside of 50 Liberty.
