Designers are struggling to find ways to bring texture to a building. The resources available are very thin. When the cost of the facade is so low designers have to take what they have and use whatever techniques they have. When the client says "make it unique" but says you get $15/sf for the facade you end up with these attempts at texture. I am in no way saying this is good ... I am just saying that it makes sense why it is happening.

Its not being sensible ... its literally the life of a designer. That's all.Why do you have to be so sensible, CCA? What am I going to do with my flaming torch and pitchfork now?![]()
Pretty sure that is the mineral fiber insulation you are seeing.The color reminds me of a pea-green gameboy screen, not sure if its worse (to me) than the windows.
