Actually for the tower portion above the tower podium and below the crown that looks dead on for the aspect ratio..
 
Fascinating how much work is still happening here, yet how much is already open and opening soon. Citizen M, Starbucks/Star Market, Banners, Big Night Live, and Guy Fieri's Tequila Cocina are all open. Arclight, and Sound Advice coming soon.
 
Here's a photo I took years ago after the Big Dig was finished, but prior to any development. Pretty bleak:

I think the "LEASE ONE CANAL", "LUXURIOUS APARTMENTS", and "ONE CANAL APARTMENT HOMES" banners cheapen One Canal a bit; however, I agree with others that it's a wonderful addition to the area. Especially during the summer months and at night when lit up, One Canal spectacularly connects Haymarket station and Canal Street to the North End. After the Union Oyster House, it's become one of the first noteworthy buildings to greet Uber passengers, visitors, and drivers emerging from the Sumner Tunnel heading to Gov't Center or I-93 NB.

On the subject for Hub on Causeway... I'm really pumped the Arclight is opening soon!
 
The food hall will be nice- there's no bowl places over there (Dig Inn, Cava, Sweetgreen etc etc) I'm on a no carb diet and the best I could do was Qdoba before the game last night over there. Hopefully this will fill that upscale fast casual role over there that's missing.
Its weird how the bowl places are either on Boylston, the Financial District or Seaport and hardly any place else. It also pisses me off that on the flip side, cheap Wendy's, McD's, Taco Bell, Popeyes etc etc arent present in the areas where the bowl places are (DTX being the exception I guess). Have a mix for everyone! Not hard

depends on the vendors. so far the announced vendors are less than stellar (especially compared to Time Out). Too many N End places, which are right around the corner. If I want Reginas I can go to Thatcher St (or Fanueil Hall for that matter).

I'm with you on this. Somewhat disappointed with the vendors, but I hope that over time that changes. Still, hard to argue it's not a win for the area.
 
definitely a win no matter what. I didnt mean to come across so negative.

yes and no. The North End may be right there but most people going through the Food Hall will either be catching a train at North Station, Going to a game/concert, or be on a quick lunch break where going to the North End is just unrealistic for them. I think it's the food options show some of Boston's best so far for what this food hall represents.
