Seaport Neighborhood - Infill and Discussion

Honestly, I wish it were a public toilet; not enough public toilets in Boston!

^^ I wish that Courthouse entrance looked less like a public toilet.

I remember when we were all convinced it was a "temporary" headhouse. The expansive mezzanine with its very un-MBTA-like futureproofing ensured that station entrances would get moved inside future buildings ala Downtown Crossing or Prudential.

The should have allowed a spine of taller buildings--maybe just 6 to 8 stories taller-- down the spine, maybe even setback (like the back half of the buildings that front seaport blvd on the south)

Wouldn't have blocked anyone's views. Needn't have cast any new shadows on the street

Could they even do that without running into the FAA limits?
 
Seaport was very busy yesterday including a big event at the convention center.
