Boston Skyline Photos

Not a typical Boston skyline pic, this what the Back Bay skyline looks like from North Avenue in Mendon. I circled it in the second picture. It’s pretty hard to see it in the pic since it’s in the distance and it was taken on an iPhone, I'll try to go back and take a better photo sometime soon.

I can’t express how surprised I was to catch an unexpected glance of the Pru and the Hancock while I was all the way out in Mendon, pretty cool though.

This is cool. I've never even heard of Mendon before...

That's not too surprising. Mendon is a small town of about 6,000 people in the Milford area, which is certainly not somewhere you'd expect to see the Boston skyline. But the large hills in the area allow you to get an expansive view of the surroundings on a clear day.

Ok people make fun of Massachusetts for difficult to pronounce city names (e.g. Leicester, Worcester, Haverhill, etc.), but honestly it is confusing how many towns start with "M" and have two syllables... Melrose, Medford, Milton, Milford, Mendon.

There's 5 towns in a row southwest of the city, that start outside 95 and end up outside 495: Medfield, Millis, Medway, Milford, Mendon.

EDIT: In fact, throw in Millville and there's 6!!!
