The metal panels on the lower floor balconies were placeholders until the glass was installed. All balconies now have glass.

Actually, the lower balconies will have aviation wire instead of glass, better than solid metal panels I guess but why?

Thankfully, you are right and I was wrong about this. Just noticed the wire that has replaced the metal panels this past weekend.

This is a minor detail that most people would not notice nor care, but I thought that there was supposedly some effort to make the street lamps in Seaport more consistent and uniform (and classy) like the examples below. The ones that they put up next to Pier 4 look... flimsy

Once you get to that part of the water, the streetlights change to the green ones they used. It's like that all the way down around World Trade Center, etc.

I agree they should have kept them uniform.

I believe closings have begun for the residences in the building; however, the retail and landscaping are still underway. But an unfinished product never stopped anyone on this forum from declaring a critique or 'verdict' on a building.

Oh yes, closings have definitely been underway. The restaurant that will be facing the harbor side is already known, but I don't have a sense of the planned timeline. I think plans for the rest of the retail space are up in the air.

I still think it turned (turning?) out quite well overall. Whatever green space it will have will be tiny though.

Yes, I've counted 59 closings thus far of the 106 units listed for sale. The others may or may not have been sold yet; the closings have been coming very regularly during the past month.

Total proceeds from sales, thus far: ~$176 million, including one $15 million penthouse sale, to a trust.

I also was just about to post the same thing, especially if the bottom 10th of the photo with the people and cars is cropped out. I think the sky has much to do with it.

I agree that the materials look pretty good. There appears to be noticeable decline in material quality of the newer buildings further down past the line of World Trade Center Ave, starting with Gables and continuing on with things like Parcel K. In fact, I always thought that Parcel K’s Hyatt place sort of resembles a low quality Pier 4.
