Has there ever been any talk/actual plans for redeveloping some of the smaller empty spaces/parking lots in the Triangle? I know smaller lots are tougher to redevelop, but I had such high hopes for this area once the expressway came down and very little has changed.

yeah, I work in that travesty known as the navy yard, and will for the next 18 months minimum. I swear I would sacrafice my virtue for someone to put some effort into that area.

whats cool about that pic is that half that block actually still exists. that tree in the upperleft hand corner is well preserved on the Registry building. Too bad the pilgrim theatre isn't still there - I've never seen a pic of it before!

I'll clarify - parking lots AND parking structures. seeing the province st. garage go down was very exciting, and seeing the gov't center garage go down (hopefully!) will bring me the same warm fuzzies.
