I believe the answer to those understandable questions is answered in research and understanding of the tech itself. Least of all literally googling "nuclear fusion safety." And trust in the scientists/professionals doing the work itself.

One of the better things about the existing building is the covered portico on the side facing Quincy Market. Don't see that here and looks like they flipped it to the Greenway side? Wish they'd offer both. That space back there is pretty pleasant and protected-feeling as is.

Who wants to take bets on how long the new Amory st station will sit unfinished? The grand opening was a month ago and they never put the end trim pieces onto the canopies, and only one segment onto the south edge. Just some fun plywood and pt wood blocking sitting there... Have been waiting...

No one is allowed to touch that thing. It's an incredible piece of brutalism, predictably left to rot and completely ruined by the misuse of the front corner.

I actually had direct involvement with this project in an earlier form 2 years ago (colors me biased against this one). Our office even has a barren overly detailed site model of it sitting downstairs still lol But I don't think we have settle for good-enough just because it's in the projects...

This feels very banal and underwhelming for the program. Dull massing, cheap-looking slat fenestration. They put all their rendering 'pizzazz' in that garage door yet it'll probably be open for very very rare (in season) events.

These are a neat modular core formwork that saves a lot of construction time. Instead of building up each wall of formwork piece by piece, those containers are each a full floor that's stacked, rebar run through, then concrete poured down into (between 2 layers of the corrugated metal).
