Can't wait for this building to be completed. As others have stated, this would nicely fill a very noticeable hole in this area:

It's hard to tell, but the last 2 pictures capture installation of window panes on the western side of the building.

The Summer Street view looks like a cartoon exaggeration of a skyscraper. Someone needs to slap an Acme sign on the top.

Nice shots of the tower, the facade looks great!!!! What a jewel will THIS one be when it's completed!!!! :)

100% agree. This building design is forward and so cool. Inside, it's primarily lab space and on the top floor there is a running track! And being across from the convention center it will be seen and heard. Boston goes up a level on the world's stage.

Is this a skyscraper? Thought it needed to be taller to qualify.
Everything in the Seaport is hemmed in by the FAA height limit, so skyscraper is a relative term. It’s a good bit taller than the old Slade Gorton warehouse that used to be in the vicinity (pre-Big Dig).

That glass looks really dark to me, hopefully once finished it will look better!

I find the arches to be the most interesting aspect of this building.
I love the arches, too, but there is so much else going on, such as the concave surfaces, the upward expanding floor plate, the fact that it is above a tunnel exit. etc. And it all works splendidly together as a single, cohesive package.

Keep in mind that the higher glass will typically read as a bit "lighter" because it's reflecting more of the sky, while the lower glass is mainly reflecting the buildings around it. I'm going to need to see a couple more floors of glass to truly begin to visualize how this is going to look. What I do appreciate is that it seems to clearly be a different shade of any of the glass surrounding it, or in the Seaport (maybe even entire city) at all.

By January we should have a much better idea of the expected finished product.

Also, this building will reflect less of the sky because of its concave surfaces which will reflect more of the ground and lower buildings because the glass is angled in that direction.
