As awood91 noted, the brown trim and green undertones does give this building, at least to me, a retro late 70s/early 80s kind of feel. From certain perspectives, particularly from World Trade Center Av, the inverted pyramid nature of the building does give it an imposing presence. I think it views better from the ground level. I’ve resigned myself that the architecture will not be my cup of tea, but I’m excited for the public improvements. The intersection where the pedestrian path ends, like much of the Seaport, is very car-centric, so it will be interesting to see how it is integrated into the road design.
