Let's see how it all fits together a couple of years from now -- a few observations from these drive by pix:
1) we are never going to see raised entries again until robotics triumphs over stairs
2) the fencing is nice to have where it was supposed to be there as in the case of the steps in the original Victorian era buildings -- I don't think that it is essential to modern construction as the beds do provide some ornamentation and separation
3) I think that the current flower beds need a lot of maintenance -- perhaps they could be replanted with more small shrubs and perenials -- i will have to check this with my wife who is a master gardener
4) the overall effect seems imminently pedestrian friendly in a neighbor walking by enroute to work or shop kind-of-way
5) to be more Euro-style the street needs some small shops
