Developer wins OK for 43 affordable condos on an acre of Harvard land in Allston

“The Zoning Board of Appeal today approved plans for a three-building, 43-unit condo development at 65-79 Seattle St. in Allston in which all the units will be sold as affordable.
Urbanica's proposed complex, which will include 21 parking spaces, will sit on land being donated by Harvard - under the impetus of the Harvard Allston Task Force and carved off from its more massive Allston developments around its science center. It will be built in part with a $3-million grant from the Mayor's Office of Housing.
Some 22 of the units - which will range from one to three bedrooms - will be sold to people making no more than 80% of the Boston area median income. The rest will be sold to people making no more than 100% of that level……”
