11/13 From Pine Banks, Melrose. Just found this view and it's potentially the best of all the suburban lookout points. The only downside is the current positioning of the sun, although I think the lighting should be vastly improved from around May-August. I could spend all day up here. Take the yellow trail (with blue shortcut) to Mount Ephraim. The trails are not marked but it's fairly easy to navigate.
