Imagine how different it will look from the harbor once Bulfinch Crossing, South Station Tower, the Alcott, and the Harbor Garage Tower are finished.
 
I like these pictures because leaving from Terminal E you het a glimpse of the great city here. What a shot for the visitors who are departing out of Boston.

When I would drive from my apartment in Malden to the LMA without crazy traffic it was so fast that the distance between the 2 seemed really short. Looking at this photo if we built more tallish buildings from the Encore to the Pierce our skyline would look huge for such a short distance.
 
That would be a huge skyline though the only skylines in the United States that would be longer are NYC, Chicago and Miami. Boston already has a large skyline and it doesn't make sense to push the skyline out that far yet although the Union Square developments may start to pull it over and possibly Assembly although those may be directly in front of the Encore from this angle.
